From a young age, Magdalene has resided with her grandmother, as her mother ventured off to seek employment in Arab countries, only returning home sporadically.
In the year 2023, Magdalene earned a spot at the Mary Leaky Girls school, showcasing her academic prowess and dedication to her studies.
Securing a Nyashep sponsorship in the same year thanks to her dedicated and caring sponsors, Magdalene has proven to be an active and promising student, excelling in her education and making the most of the opportunities presented to her. As she prepares to graduate from high school in 2026, Magdalene will be among the first group of students to participate in the Nyashep Outback Program, further expanding her horizons and experiences beyond the classroom.
